Sarah Brayer Coming To Buffalo!

Artist Sarah Brayer from Kyoto and I collaborated on an image/sound work. Here’s an email she sent me with some details about the upcoming U.S. show. The show will be going for a while so if you get a chance, don’t miss it.   Also check Sarah out online – wow – www.sarahbrayer.com/ Autumn greetings from Kyoto. I hope this finds you well. As you may know, I have a show at the Castellani Museum in Niagara University. I will be making a special trip to attend the Sunday, October 26th, reception from 2-4 pm, and I would love to see you if you are able to come. This show, Between Two Worlds: Paperworks by Sarah Brayer  includes 18 large-scale washi paperworks made in Japan. Shifting lights and a special soundtrack by musician Steve Greene (stevegreene.com) were created especially to show the works in different lighting conditions in the Luminosity series. The reception is from 2-4 pm on October 26th.  There is a dinner planned at Sato, a Japanese restaurant in Buffalo, later that evening after the reception. I can send you details if you would like to attend. Warmest regards,...
